The Silver Jubilee Celebration of St.Vincent Pallotti College,Kapa,Raipur was held in the college premises in a befitting manner .The college was established in 1995 with the motto-“Go forth to Serve” having completed the span of 25 years . It was a three days’ programme beginning from 15 th December named as Reconnect2019; followed by prize and scholarship distribution on 16 th December under the event tag-Uplabdhi. After the successful program of two days, our culminating event, “AAROHAN” was organized in the college premises on 17th December, 2019.

Amidst us the guests who were adorned to witness the occasion were Dr. K. L. Verma –the Vice -Chancellor of Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University; MLA of North Raipur -Shree Kuldeep Juneja ; His Grace the Most Rev.Dr. Victor Henry Thakur- the Archbishop of Raipur Archdiocese; Rev.Fr.Bipin Kishore Minj - The Provincial Khrist Jyoti Province, Raipur and President of Vidhya Protsahann Sangh added grace to the occasion. Rev.Fr.Ajay Praveen Kujur-The Vice-Provincial of Khrist Jyoti Province, Raipur graced the occasion. Distinguished guests, dignitaries, elite guardians, and the students of the college were also present to witness the annual function .The glorious celebration allowed to share the moments with many more Provincial and Missionary personalities. This joyous moment has been a proud privilege to greet our esteemed guests. All of them were paid hearty welcome.

The Director of our college Fr.Shanti Prakash Panna, the pivotal figure among us, has all the time been supportive and encouraging us in making this Silver Jubilee Ceremony as an appeasing event. The cordial atmosphere given by him has inspired to organize this event gracefully. In his welcome address, the central motive of this institution was expressed in clear terms and on priority is to provide the qualitative education along with the all round enhancement of the personality.Dr. Kuldeep Dubey, Principal of St. Vincent Pallotti College, extended a warm welcome to the gathering. He highlighted the success story –AAROHAN of the college and its consequent achievements. The Principal presented the report of the college throwing light on its ladder of success on national and international level. His address comprised the keen observations and record of the entire journey undertaken for making the college run in the forefront of the state. He assured that the students will have ever green memories about their college life. He wished the students to be successful in all their endeavours. Shri.K.L.Verma –The Vice-Chancellor of Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur spoke on the latest updating of the Pt.Ravishanker Shukla University in terms of examinations and other online services. He also assured all support and guidance for the college in its interest. MLA Shri Kuldeep Juneja expressed his happiness over the ever widening fame of the college through its students reaching out their goals in various pursuits of life. Dr.Victor Henry Thakur –the Arch Bishop of Raipur Archdiocese - in his address emphasized on sole objective of education for transformation and self-realization attaining humanity. The relevance of hard work, sincerity and dedication was the main lesson given and the success story of the college was highly appreciated. Furthermore, he wished a bright future for all. The guest also delivered a valuable speech. In his speech he gave much importance to the need for arranging such a programme. He encouraged the students for their laudable performances. He also motivated the untiring faculty for their strenuous efforts in bringing laurels to the college and aiming at specific targets for the future too.

Added to it is all time assistance to proper functioning which is provided by Assistant Administrator –Fr. Julius Xess who is approachable for any help instantly. The winners of special achievements were also felicitated under different groups. After the formal functions, Cultural event was diligently organized. The performances opened with a prayer song and prayer dance. The events of programme included music, dance, drama, song and chorus. There was cultural programme. In the colourful show, students brought to limelight their creative and artistic talents. Some of the highlights of the program were- Rajasthani dance, Lavni Dance, Chhattisgarhi dance, NCC dance, bhangra, Beat Boxing, some acts and songs too. The credit of presenting cultural program goes to the Cultural Convenor- Mrs.Yashaswi Lonkar and her team members who worked round the clock to see the huge number of participants and the diligent execution as well as synchronization of the entire program. The zeal and passion of the students and participants were highly commendable. Dr.G.Padma Gouri –the Vice-Principal of the college having played the role like a shadow behind each and everyone, left no stone unturned on making this event successful. With the same warmth and generosity, she proposed vote of thanks recalling the long list of those deserving members witnessing the cooperation, coordination and participation of the entire Pallotian family. National Anthem was sung as a note of closure of the event leaving the mesmerizing and out blowing performances churning into memories of St.Vincent Pallotti College, Raipur.
